NDA Allies Rally Behind Modi Amid Gen Z Protest Controversy And Criticism

NDA allies Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan publicly backed Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Andhra Pradesh visit, praising his leadership and reaffirming support amid controversy over recent protests and criticism in New Delhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received strong public backing from key NDA allies during his visit to Andhra Pradesh, where he inaugurated the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district. The airport, developed by the GMR Group at an estimated cost of ₹5,000 crore, marked a major infrastructure milestone for the state.

Sharing the stage with the Prime Minister were Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Both leaders praised Modi's leadership and expressed unwavering support for him amid recent controversy surrounding a protest in New Delhi.

The remarks came days after demonstrations at Jantar Mantar, where protesters allegedly displayed offensive banners and used abusive language targeting the Prime Minister. Supporters of the ruling alliance have claimed that the protests were part of a broader attempt to undermine the elected government, though such allegations remain politically contested.

Pawan Kalyan compared Modi's commitment to the nation with the devotion of Lord Hanuman, saying the Prime Minister serves the country with unwavering dedication despite facing repeated criticism and personal attacks. He also praised Modi's willingness to forgive his critics, describing it as a sign of leadership and humility.

Kalyan further stated that India is witnessing rapid economic growth, increasing global investments, and stronger international recognition under Modi's leadership. He urged citizens to respect national institutions and encourage younger generations to value the country's resources responsibly.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu echoed similar sentiments, reaffirming his government's continued support for the Prime Minister. The event highlighted the unity within the NDA alliance as it sought to project political stability and confidence despite ongoing criticism from opposition groups and protest movements.
