Doval Praises Modi Shah Urges Youth To Balance Freedom With Responsibility Always

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval called on India's youth to exercise freedom responsibly while praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, emphasizing national service, discipline, and the importance of nation-building during the Lokmanya Tilak Award ceremony.

India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval emphasized that freedom must always be exercised with responsibility while addressing a public event in Pune, where he was presented with the Lokmanya Tilak Award by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The ceremony highlighted Doval's contributions to strengthening India's national security and strategic capabilities over the past decade.

Presenting the award, Amit Shah praised Doval's role in reinforcing India's security framework and modernizing its defense approach. He said Doval's contribution to safeguarding the nation would be remembered in history and credited him with playing a significant role in several key national security initiatives.

During his acceptance speech, Doval urged young Indians to reflect on the ideals of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, particularly his vision for nation-building and public service. He encouraged the country's youth to prioritize national interest over personal ambitions and to contribute positively to India's development.

"Freedom does not mean the right to do anything one wishes," Doval said, stressing that individual liberty must be accompanied by responsibility, discipline, and commitment to the nation. He appealed to young people to make sacrifices for the country's progress whenever required and to place collective welfare above narrow personal interests.

His remarks come against the backdrop of recent demonstrations by sections of Gen Z protesters at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The protests have triggered political debate, with supporters of the ruling alliance questioning their objectives, while critics maintain they were expressions of democratic dissent. Allegations suggesting broader political motives behind the demonstrations remain matters of political opinion and have not been independently established.
