CJP Founder Mocks Modi Urges Prime Minister Become Social Media Influencer

CJP Founder Mocks Modi Urges Prime Minister Become Social Media Influencer

CJP founder Abhijit Deepke criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying he should resign and become a social media influencer. The remarks came after nationwide protests over the alleged NEET paper leak and have added fuel to the ongoing political debate.

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Deepke launched a sharp political attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, suggesting that he should step down from office and pursue a career as a social media influencer instead. The remarks came in the aftermath of nationwide protests over the alleged NEET examination paper leak, which sparked widespread demonstrations by students across India.

Speaking to reporters at his residence in Maharashtra after returning from the protest campaign, Deepke claimed the student movement had achieved a significant political impact. He referred to the resignation of former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, describing it as a consequence of sustained public pressure over the examination controversy.

Deepke criticized the Prime Minister's communication style, arguing that Modi appeared more comfortable engaging with citizens through social media than addressing pressing governance issues directly. Referring to a recent online message shared by the Prime Minister for students during the protests, Deepke said that such interactions reflected a greater focus on digital outreach than administrative responsibilities.

"I think Prime Minister Modi should become an influencer. He is doing that job well. He should leave the Prime Minister's chair and allow another leader to govern the country," Deepke said while addressing the media.

His comments have added a fresh political dimension to the ongoing debate surrounding the NEET controversy and student protests. The statement is expected to trigger strong reactions from both the ruling alliance and opposition parties, further intensifying political exchanges over education reforms, accountability and the government's response to examination-related issues.

The Centre has maintained that it remains committed to ensuring transparency and strengthening measures to safeguard the integrity of competitive examinations.
