BJP Mobilises 45 Leaders To Decode Gen Z Voters And Youth Concerns

BJP Mobilises 45 Leaders To Decode Gen Z Voters And Youth Concerns

BJP president Nitin Nabin has called 45 leaders for a special meeting to understand Gen Z voters, their concerns and aspirations, as the party expands its nationwide youth outreach strategy.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is intensifying its outreach to Generation Z, with party president Nitin Nabin convening a special meeting of 45 leaders to understand the changing priorities and concerns of young voters. The meeting is scheduled for August 29 at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi.

The initiative comes days after the BJP created a dedicated team to strengthen its engagement with Gen Z, reflecting the party’s growing focus on young voters as an important electoral constituency. Gen Z broadly refers to people born between 1997 and 2012.

According to reports, two to three leaders from different states have been invited to the meeting. The participants include Union ministers, MPs, former MPs, former ministers, MLAs and state ministers who have a strong connection with young people or an understanding of youth-related issues.

Among those invited are former Union minister Anurag Thakur, Union minister Kamlesh Paswan, actor-turned-MP Ravi Kishan, BJP general secretary Harish Dwivedi, Minister of State Raksha Khadse, former Mumbai MP Poonam Mahajan, former Maharashtra minister Pankaja Munde, Bengaluru MP Tejasvi Surya and Darjeeling MP Raju Bista.

The discussions are expected to focus on employment, education, opportunities, aspirations and the changing expectations of younger Indians. The BJP wants to identify the issues that matter most to Gen Z and explore more effective ways of communicating with them.

The broader outreach plan is also expected to include direct interactions with young people through campuses, schools and digital platforms.

The meeting signals a strategic effort by the BJP to strengthen its youth connect and understand the political mood of a generation that is increasingly influential in India's electoral landscape.
