ABVP Launches Campus Outreach As Bhagwat Engages India’s Gen Z Students

ABVP Launches Campus Outreach As Bhagwat Engages India’s Gen Z Students

ABVP has launched new campus initiatives in West Bengal as RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat prepares to interact with Gen Z, focusing on student engagement, leadership, and meaningful campus participation.

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student organization affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has announced a series of campus outreach initiatives aimed at increasing student engagement and strengthening its connect with Generation Z across educational institutions.

The campaign comes as RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to interact with young students during a special event, where he is expected to discuss the aspirations, concerns, and changing mindset of India's younger generation. Bhagwat has previously emphasized that today's youth are more inquisitive than earlier generations and deserve patient, thoughtful responses to their questions.

In West Bengal, ABVP plans to organize creative and educational activities on college campuses under themes such as "Screen Time to Green Time" and "Screen Time to Music Time." These programs will encourage discussions on music, literature, environmental awareness, and the lives of prominent national personalities, with the objective of promoting constructive student participation beyond digital spaces.

The organization has also launched a "Campus Chalo" campaign to encourage higher student attendance and greater involvement in academic and extracurricular activities. According to ABVP, the initiative seeks to create a more vibrant campus environment through dialogue, cultural events, and leadership opportunities for students.

The outreach follows recent political developments and renewed discussions around youth participation in public life. Observers believe student engagement has become an increasingly significant focus for political and social organizations seeking to connect with first-time voters and young citizens.

ABVP maintains that its initiatives are intended to foster leadership, civic awareness, and meaningful conversations among students while encouraging active participation in campus life across the state.
