India are looking to secure the five-match T20I series against the West Indies in the fourth match at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Wednesday, October 14. India lead the series 2-1, and a victory would give them an unassailable advantage.
The match began at 7 pm IST. India won the opening game by eight wickets, while the West Indies levelled the contest with a six-wicket win in the second match. India then bounced back to win the third T20I in Indore by 14 runs. Abhishek Sharma scored 69 runs in that match, while Arshdeep Singh took three wickets.
West Indies batter Sherfane Rutherford remains a key player to watch. He has scored 32, 84 and 56 runs in the first three matches. India will need to limit his scoring opportunities and take wickets at regular intervals to control the visitors’ powerful batting line-up.
Meanwhile, Indian stars Shubman Gill and Shafali Verma have received the ICC Player of the Month awards for September 2026. Gill won the men’s award for a record fifth time, while Shafali claimed the women’s honour for the second time.
The match is being televised on Star Sports, with online streaming on JioHotstar.
