A shooting incident targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s BMW in Mumbai’s Juhu area has raised security concerns. The incident reportedly took place around 7 pm on Sunday, October 18, when three men riding a motorcycle allegedly fired at the actor’s car.
Tiger Shroff reportedly suffered minor scratches from broken glass. His driver, identified as Firdous, was injured by a bullet, while a passerby was also reported to have sustained injuries.
Police have been investigating the case and reportedly travelled from Kota in Rajasthan with the arrested suspects to Mumbai. However, reports have differed on the number of people detained. The exact number should be confirmed through an official Mumbai Police statement before publication.
The incident has also triggered speculation about a possible connection with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Messages circulating online have claimed responsibility on behalf of people linked to the gang, but police have not officially confirmed this connection. The claims should therefore not be treated as established facts.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that those responsible will not be spared. Investigators are expected to examine the circumstances of the shooting and establish the motive behind the attack.
The case has renewed concerns about security for Bollywood personalities. However, the shooting incident must be distinguished from earlier reports about alleged threat calls involving Tiger Shroff, as the two matters are not necessarily connected.
