Mumbai Police have clarified that none of the three suspects arrested in connection with the firing at actor Tiger Shroff’s car is a minor. Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajtilak Roshan said the suspects were detained in Kota, Rajasthan. Two are from Haryana and one is from Bihar.
The clarification corrects earlier reports suggesting that one of the accused was 17 years old. According to separate media reports, the three suspects are aged 18, 22 and 22. However, these ages have not been directly confirmed in the police statement cited in the latest update.
Police have also said they have no record of Tiger Shroff receiving threatening phone calls before the incident. Investigators are continuing their probe, and further arrests have not been ruled out.
The firing incident has raised questions about the motive behind the attack and whether others were involved. Investigators are expected to examine the suspects’ alleged roles and establish how the incident was planned.
Claims circulating online that members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, or a person identified as Anil Pandit, took responsibility for the incident remain unverified. These claims should not be treated as established facts unless confirmed by investigators.
Further updates are awaited on whether the suspects will be brought to Mumbai and whether police recover any weapons linked to the case. The investigation is ongoing.
