The much-awaited trailer of Jailer 2 has finally arrived, raising excitement among Rajinikanth fans ahead of the film’s release. The trailer was released by Sun Pictures on YouTube on October 5 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
The sequel comes nearly two years after the film’s teaser first created curiosity among fans. Rajinikanth once again appears in a larger-than-life role, combining his trademark style, action and powerful dialogue delivery.
The trailer opens with a tense interrogation scene surrounding a mysterious figure linked to two months of destruction. Soon, Rajinikanth enters the action with a dramatic sequence involving a machine gun and a series of high-energy moments.
One of the highlights is a scene where his character calmly asks an opponent whether he prefers tea or coffee before delivering a stern warning. His character also mocks traditional methods of spying, threatening enemies and using intermediaries, claiming that his own approach is far more direct.
The film also features Mithun Chakraborty and Vidya Balan, while Mohanlal reportedly appears in a guest role. Mithun’s presence is expected to create additional interest among Bengali audiences.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 is scheduled to release on October 15. The trailer has already generated strong reactions online, with fans speculating that the film could become a major box-office success.
