Border tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan have reached a boiling point following a massive overnight military offensive by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). Dubbed 'Operation Gazab Lil-Haq,' the strike has reportedly inflicted heavy casualties and significant hardware losses on the Taliban.

Pakistani Federal Minister Attaullah Tarar confirmed that the PAF targeted 29 strategic locations within Afghanistan on Friday night. The operation focused on areas allegedly harboring insurgent groups responsible for cross-border attacks. According to claims released by the Pakistani military: Over 300 Taliban fighters reportedly killed.135 tanks and a vast cache of weaponry destroyed. Simultaneous precision strikes across 29 separate coordinates.

The interim Taliban government in Kabul has vehemently refuted Pakistan's report, calling the figures "baseless and fabricated." While acknowledging that Pakistan violated Afghan airspace and carried out strikes, Taliban officials stated that the scale of destruction claimed by Islamabad is a gross exaggeration intended for domestic propaganda. This escalation follows a series of terror attacks within Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces. Islamabad has repeatedly accused the Taliban of providing a safe haven to militants, a charge Kabul continues to deny.

Both nations have reportedly moved additional troops and heavy artillery toward the Durand Line (the border). International observers are monitoring the situation closely, fearing that a full-scale military confrontation could further destabilize the South Asian region.
