India has officially condemned the recent airstrikes conducted by Pakistan on Afghan territory. In a strongly-worded statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) expressed grave concern over the loss of innocent lives, particularly noting that the violence occurred during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Indian government highlighted that while it remains committed to global counter-terrorism efforts, the violation of a nation's sovereignty and the resulting civilian casualties are unacceptable. The loss of life among women and children during the month of Ramadan was described as "deeply unfortunate and distressing." India urged all parties to exercise restraint and resolve conflicts through diplomatic dialogue rather than military aggression.

The airstrikes were reportedly carried out by Pakistan in response to cross-border militant activity. However, the Afghan administration has maintained that the strikes hit residential areas, leading to the deaths of several non-combatants and causing widespread displacement in the border regions.
