Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Thursday requested that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) reconsider its decision to boycott the upcoming India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup match set for February 15 in Colombo, noting that this action could lead to significant financial losses for various stakeholders. According to reports, the Pakistan government announced the boycott in support of Bangladesh, which withdrew from the tournament due to security concerns in India. After a meeting on Tuesday, SLC’s executive committee decided to formally communicate with the PCB, encouraging them to reassess and change their stance.
